AI/ML in fertility and IVF programs

IVF is a sequence of high-stakes choices: stimulation, retrieval, embryo selection, transfer. Models do not replace clinicians. They give a second, consistent read on data the clinic already collects.

Published research in Fertility and Sterility has reported embryo-implantation models with accuracy well above traditional embryologist scoring in study settings. The operational value is fewer cycles to a successful transfer, when the clinic validates the model on its own data.

Protocol design is the second lever. Response to stimulation varies. Models that use labs, ultrasound, and history can support dosing and timing so patients are not under- or over-stimulated as often.
